Cozinha da Matilde opened about a year ago and a mix of corporate meetings, private parties and events for her close network makes Letícia enough money to the point that she solely dedicates to the project. “I get a reasonable amount, but my biggest remuneration is doing something I really enjoy.” Despite the noisy background on the phone call, the enthusiasm on her voice was quite clear. “Not a lot of people can say they work on something they love, so if cooking gives you that buzz, I’d say go for it – but take a calculated risk and plan properly, otherwise if things don’t pick up as quickly as you’d expected, you may be disappointed.”
